Eight including child & two women killed as container hits tractor in UP’s Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr, Aug 25: In a tragic incident, as many as eight people were killed and around 40 sustained injuries after a container collided with a tractor carrying devotees in Arnia police station area of Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.
Bulandshahr SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh confirmed that a child and two women were among the victims who lost their lives in the mishap that took place near Ghatal village on National Highway 34.
Devotees were en route from Kasganj to Gogamedi, Rajasthan, to pay homage to Jaharpir (Gogaji) when a tragic accident occurred.
Authorities, including the District Magistrate and SSP, quickly arrived at the scene. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals, while the bodies of the deceased were taken for post-mortem examination, according to SSP Singh.
