Dhenkanal, Oct 17: Dhenkanal is set to host the Pallisree Mela, a vibrant cultural fair, from today and it will continue till 25th of this month, coinciding with the Gajalaxmi Puja. This year’s puja will showcase participation from traders across 15 states, including Odisha, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, New Delhi, and Jammu & Kashmir.
The fair will feature 25 stalls offering a variety of products and local crafts. Special arrangements have been made for the comfort of participating traders, artists, and guests. People can expect reliable electricity supply, regular transportation services, and access to clean drinking water. Additional provisions include fire safety measures, emergency medical services, ambulance availability, and festive supplies.
Coinciding with the Pallisree Mela, a district-level Kola Kala Mahotsav will take place from October 19 to 21, further enriching the cultural landscape of the region. This dual celebration promises to be an exciting showcase of local traditions and artistry, making it a must-visit event for residents and tourists alike.
