Bhawanipatna, June 8: In another major case of corruption, Sub-Collector Dharmagarh in Odisha’s Kalahandi district, Dhiman Chakma was trapped by Vigilance on Sunday.
The vigilance sleuths recovered a bribe money of Rs 10L this evening, from the possession of the Sub-Collector who is a Tripura-Cadre IAS Officer.
The amount was received by Chakma as bribe from a crusher owner promising illegal favour to him, said Vigilance sources.
Folliowing the interception, the vigilance initiated multiple raids in Dharmagarh, to unearth DA of the IAS Officer.
Raids are underway.Details awaited..
