New Delhi, March 26: While the entire state of Odisha mourns the demise of former Union Minister Dr. Debendra Pradhan, the Parliament of India moved a condolence of the veteran BJP leader on Wednesday.
The Parliament before the Budget Session began today, adopted the condolence motion in favour of late Dr. Debendra Pradhan.
With the proposal tabled by Speaker Om Birla, the Parliament expressed its heartfelt shock and sadness at the demise of Dr. Pradhan and offered its deep sympathy and condolences to his bereaved family and friends.
Meanwhile, the speaker applauded the many years of public service that Dr. Pradhan dedicated for the people as an MP and Union Minister.
Birla also recognised the substantial and significant contribution that Dr. Pradhan made over decades to public life, Odisha and national politics and the cause of BJP’s growth & development.
