Bhubaneswar, Jun 4: A group of miscreants allegedly launched a murderous attack on a delivery boy and looted him on Jagamara Gondamunda road under Khandagiri police station limits of Bhubaneswar last night.

The young delivery boy who has been identified as Tapas Behera was attacked from behind by miscreants while he was returning after delivering an order.

Behera has suffered serious injuries in various parts of his body due to sword attack by the unidentified miscreants.

The injured delivery boy has alleged that he was attacked with the intention of looting. He claimed that the miscreants snatched his mobile phone and cash after attacking him.

Meanwhile, Behera has been admitted to the Capital Hospital in a critical condition.

On the other hand, Khandagiri police has started an investigation into the incident
