Mumbai, April 20: Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has set social media abuzz with her latest Instagram post, triggering speculation that she may be expecting her second child. The post features her daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test kit, which many fans have interpreted as a subtle announcement.
Padukone and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, also shared a joint photo, further fueling rumours of a second pregnancy. While the couple has not issued an official confirmation, the post has been widely viewed as a hint about the arrival of their second child.

The couple’s relationship began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. They tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in Lake Como, Italy, following both Konkani and Sindhi traditions. They welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, 2024.
Speaking earlier at the WAVES 2025 conference, Padukone had said that motherhood has significantly changed her priorities, with her daughter now taking precedence over her career. She has also expressed a desire to raise her child away from the public spotlight.
