DA case: AEE of Jeypore Block under vigilance radar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: Odisha Vigilance today conducted simultaneous raids on the properties linked to Biswanath Patro, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Jeypore Block & In-charge Municipal Engineer of Jeypore Municipality on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.
The searches are being carried out by one additional Superintendent of Police (SP), two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) , eight inspectors, six assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff based on search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge of Jeypore.
Raids are being carried out at Patro’s six following places including Jeypore, Ganjam and Bhubaneswar.
1)His triple-storey building located at Jeypore
2) Two-storey building located at Paternal land Koli Sahi, Belaguntha in Ganjam
3) Office chamber of Patro at Jeypore Block.
4) Office chamber of Patro at Jeypore Municipality
5) Office chamber of his spouse at DIET, Jeypore
6) The house of his relative located at Niladri Vihar (Patia) in Bhubaneswar
Further investigation is underway.
