Bhubaneswar, July 1: Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja today held a preliminary meeting with the Secretaries ahead of the visit of President Draupadi Murmu to Puri for annual Rath Yatra.
As per report, President Murmu is expected to visit Odisha on July 6. She would participate in the Rath Yatra festival in Puri on July 7-8.
Additionally, she will attend a function at Bibhuti Kanungo College of Art and Craft in Bhubaneswar on July 8, followed by an evening event at the divine retreat center near Mendhasal.
On July 9, President Murmu will be present at the convocation of NISER in Jatani before returning to Delhi.
During the meeting, Ahuja and other secretaries also discussed the upcoming budget presentation, smooth management of the Puri Rath Yatra, and related arrangements for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Odisha.
Ahuja emphasized the importance of effective efforts in implementing plans and programs, transparency, and good governance.
