When officers arrived, they found several victims with burns and other injuries. The authorities confirmed that the injuries were caused by bottles thrown by a man.

According to an organizer from the group ‘Run For Their Lives’, which raises awareness about Israeli hostages in Gaza, five people were burned during the attack.

The organizer shared details with local TV station KUSA, explaining that when the group arrived at the historic courthouse near 13th and Pearl Streets, they saw a man waiting with bottles.

The suspect then threw the bottles at them, causing burns to five individuals. One woman, who was badly injured, had to roll on the ground to put out the flames.

In the wake of the attack, FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the incident was being treated as a "targeted terror attack."

He assured the public that FBI agents and local law enforcement were already on the ground investigating and would provide more updates as the situation developed.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn condemned the attack, calling it "unacceptable."

While the police are still working to determine the motive behind the attack, Chief Redfearn emphasized the seriousness of the incident.

"My thoughts go out to the people who have been injured and impacted by this heinous act of terror," said Colorado Governor Jared Polis in a social media post, stressing that "hate-filled acts of any kind are unacceptable."

The attack has drawn concern from around the world, including from members of the Indian Parliament. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor expressed his shock and relief that no lives were lost.

Tharoor posted on social media, saying, "We are relieved there was no loss of life," and shared the view of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio that "terror has no place in our countries."

The authorities continue to investigate the attack, and the public is awaiting further information on the suspect's motives and any potential links to larger terror activities.
