Jharsuguda, January 16: In a tragic incident, several wages are feared dead under the debris after the coal hopper of Dalmia Cement Factory in Odisha’s Sundargarh district reportedly collapsed on Thursday.
Sources said that the production unit of the Dalmia Cement Factory at Rajgangpur was functional. Meanwhile, its coal hopper collapsed in the evening all of a sudden. As a result, a group of workmen engaged here and some other staffers of the factrory were crushed under the debris of the hopper.
On being informed, safety wing of the factory and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot to rescue the crew members stuck under the debris.
