Bhubaneswar, March 9: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced a hike in the monthly incentive of community support staff working under the Mission Shakti department.
The monthly incentive of MBK, Bank Mitra and Jeevika Sahayika has been raised from Rs 6,750 to Rs 10,750 and that of Krushi Mitra and Praani Mitra from Rs 3,750 to Rs 6,250.
Similarly, the monthly incentive of CRP-CM has gone up from Rs 3,600 to Rs 6,100.
The Chief Minister acknowledged the contribution of Mission Shakti’s community support staff in empowerment of women of the state and announced that the increased incentive will be effective from October 2023.
Today’s announcement is going to benefit 59,509 community support staff working at the gram panchayat level. An additional provision of Rs 96.51 crore will be spent from the state exchequer for the purpose.
