Bhubaneswar, May 23: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired important official meetings at Kharavela Bhawan on Saturday to review the state government’s performance and future priorities.
As the government approaches the completion of its second year in office, the Chief Minister held comprehensive discussions with senior officials on major governance initiatives.
The deliberations covered the implementation of election commitments, execution of welfare programmes, industrial growth, employment generation, and strategic plans for Odisha’s overall development.
During a separate high-level review meeting, Majhi assessed the progress made on directives earlier issued to the police administration regarding the strengthening of law and order across the state.
He interacted with Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Hemant Sharma and Director General of Police Y.B. Khurania.
Stressing that a stable and peaceful law and order situation is crucial for the state’s progress, the Chief Minister directed the police administration to function with greater efficiency, vigilance, and professionalism.
Chief Minister’s Advisor Prakash Mishra also attended the meeting.
