Angul, Jul 20: A 14-year-old boy reportedly went missing after falling into the Brahmani River while filming a social media reel on a railway bridge in Odisha's Angul district on Sunday.

The missing boy has been identified as Sudhanshu Pradhan, a Class 9 student and son of Manoranjan Pradhan of Bilinta village under Samal police station in Kaniha block.

According to reports, Sudhanshu had gone to the railway bridge over the Brahmani River with a group of friends to shoot a social media reel. During the filming, he allegedly slipped from the bridge and fell into the river, where he was swept away by the strong current.

After receiving information about the incident, a team from the Kaniha Fire Services rushed to the spot and launched a search and rescue operation. Local authorities and emergency personnel are continuing efforts to trace the missing teenager.
