Bhubaneswar, August 27: A Class IX student, identified as 15-year-old Priyanshu Pritam Dasbabu of Siadimal village, died while dancing during Ganesh Puja celebrations at Radhamadhab Jew High School under Nilagiri police limits in Balasore district on Wednesday.
According to reports, the school had organised a cultural programme following the puja rituals. Priyanshu, who was participating with his classmates, suddenly collapsed on the school premises while dancing.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the school and the local community, mourning the sudden loss of the young student.
