Bhubaneswar, June 30: In a major relief for Plus II students across Odisha, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for answer rechecking and re-addition of marks.
As per a notification issued by CHSE Controller of Examinations Prasanta Kumar Parida, students can now apply for answer rechecking and re-addition of marks until July 4, instead of the earlier deadline of June 30.
The notification has been circulated to all principals and headmasters of Higher Secondary schools and colleges across the state, directing them to facilitate the application process for eligible students.
Initially, the application window was open from June 19 to June 30. However, after reviewing the situation, the Council decided to extend the deadline to provide additional time to students who could not apply within the original schedule.
The extension is expected to benefit hundreds of Plus II students who were unable to submit their applications earlier due to various reasons, ensuring they get another opportunity to seek rechecking of answer scripts or re-addition of marks.
CHSE has advised eligible candidates to complete the application process well before the revised deadline to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
