Punjab, May 1: While the Pahalgam attack in J&K has forced the Armed forces to extend their vigilance, the BSF troop in Punjab recovered a huge cache of arms & ammunitions.
According to reports, the BSF troops in collaboration with Punjab Police took up a search operation to nullify the militants attack bid, on specific security inputs. Meanwhile the forces recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunition and grenades near Bharopal village in Amritsar district.
In a joint search operation conducted at night 2 hand grenades, 3 pistols and 6 magazines and 50 live cartridges were seized during combing operations.
