The PHQ has shared their names, photographs, and passport details with border districts for verification and increased surveillance.

Officials stated that the trio arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal, during the second week of August and crossed into Bihar last week.

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, officials stated that security agencies are on high alert, particularly at railway stations, bus stands, hotels, and other crowded locations. Senior police officers were briefed on the situation, and district intelligence units have been instructed to enhance monitoring, gather field intelligence, and take swift action against any suspicious activity.

An officer stated, "Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawans are on high alert, and airport and railway security agencies have increased vigilance. Intelligence units are closely monitoring local suspicious activities. This is not the first instance of terrorist infiltration through the Bihar-Nepal border, which is often exploited due to its ease of movement."

Authorities have urged the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or activities to the police immediately.
