Mumbai, August 24: The much-awaited third instalment of the ‘ Drishyam’ franchise has officially received its title and release date. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar in ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’, which is set to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
The makers announced the title on Monday with the unveiling of the film's first poster. Ajay Devgn also shared the poster, which features the line, “Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai”, highlighting Vijay's unwavering commitment to protecting his family.
The film will mark the final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam franchise, known for its suspense, twists and Vijay's carefully constructed plans to safeguard his loved ones.
A previously released teaser offered a glimpse into Vijay's mindset, with the character reflecting on the different names people have given him while reaffirming that his family remains his truth and his right.
Presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios, Drishyam The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak. Pathak has also co-written the film with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh.
Devgn will return as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu reprising her role as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran returning as Nandini. Rajat Kapoor is also reportedly joining the returning cast.
The franchise follows Vijay, an ordinary family man from Goa, who uses his intelligence and meticulous planning to protect his family after they become involved in a murder.
The Hindi series began with Drishyam in 2015, a remake of the Malayalam film starring Mohanlal. The sequel, Drishyam 2, was released in 2022 and continued Vijay's story.
Drishyam The Conclusion* is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2, 2026.
