Bhubaneswar, March 21: In a major push to ease traffic congestion and upgrade urban infrastructure, the state government has unveiled a comprehensive master plan to construct 37 new roads across the capital city. Budgetary provisions have already been made for the projects.
As part of the plan, an 11-km left parallel road network connecting Salia Sahi and Chunkoli will be developed, with work expected to be completed within the next 15 days.
A 38.4-km road along the Daya West Canal will connect Barang with Jatni, while a 6.49-km Barang-Trishulia road will link Dhakulei Peeth to National Highway 16.
