Koraput, Oct 6:Lambodhara Nayak, Asst. Engineer, Kundura Block in Koraput, was nabbed by Odisha Vigilance on Monday while demanding & taking Rs 20,000 bribe from a civil contractor for clearance of bill.

The entire tainted money was recovered from his possession & seized.

Further searches are underway at several locations related to the Asst. Engineer to verify the DA angle.

The Vigilance registered a case U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 in this connection.
