Bhubaneswar: Ashutosh Padhy edged out his coach Subrat Das by 6-3 frames and emerged champion of the 30th All Odisha Billiards & Snooker State Ranking Championship 2024, which concluded at The 6Pockets Club, here on Friday.
Including today's title, till date Ashutosh has now won three 3 Sr. Snooker titles whereas Subrat remains on total five.
Subrat started well, won the 1st Frame but thereafter Ashutosh geared up and bounced back with four consecutive Frames win to broaden the gap and kept striking consistently to maintain his lead and won 6-3 (11-57, 67-28, 66-23, 93-00, 63-02, 61-70, 72-18, 46-54, 60-30).
Today again Ashutosh striked a break of 93 points which is tournament's 2nd highest (he only Striked highest 95 points too).
