Bargarh, May 17: Advocate Anup Satapathy has been appointed as the in-charge Public Prosecutor (PP) of Bargarh District Court following a transfer in the office of the existing PP.
Satapathy, who was previously serving as the Additional Public Prosecutor, has now assumed charge as per an official notification issued by the Directorate of Public Prosecution.
The vacancy arose after the promotion of Sanjay Pradhan, who was serving as the Public Prosecutor in Bargarh.
In the wake of this development, Satapathy has been entrusted with the interim responsibility, bringing a wave of happiness among members of the legal fraternity in the region.
It is worth mentioning, Satapathy is also a member of the executive committee of the District Bar Association, which further strengthens his credibility and rapport among legal professionals in the district.
