Mumbai, September 21: Actor Priyanka Chopra extended birthday wishes to Kareena Kapoor Khan on Monday, sharing a warm message for the actor on social media.
Sharing a photograph of Kareena, Priyanka wrote, “Happy Birthday @kareenakapoorkhan. There will never be anyone like you.”
The picture featured Kareena in a vibrant, rainbow-toned leheriya saree, which she wore during the recent promotions of her film Daayra.
Priyanka’s birthday message drew attention from fans, particularly given the two actors’ past portrayal as Bollywood rivals. The duo, however, have worked together in the 2004 film Aitraaz and have spoken positively about their equation over the years.
During an earlier appearance onKoffee With Karan, Priyanka had opened up about her relationship with Kareena, saying they “never spent enough time with each other” but eventually “really started to get along.” Kareena, too, had wished Priyanka on her birthday in the past with a “global domination” message.
Kareena, who turned 46 on Monday, was recently seen inDaayra, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the crime thriller features the two actors as police officers and released in theatres on Friday. The film has received reviews from both audiences and critics.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is set to return to Indian cinema withVaranasi. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli and co-starring Mahesh Babu, the action-adventure film is scheduled for release in April 2027.
