Puri, April 17: Anant Ambani, the younger son of business magnate Mukesh Ambani, visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri amidst tight security on Tuesday night. He paid respects to the Holy Trinity at the ancient shrine and generously donated Rs 2.51 crore to the temple, as per a reliable source.
Accompanied by stringent security measures, Anant arrived at the Srimandir around 10:30 pm. His presence was greeted with a warm welcome by the temple's servitors and officials from the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA). Seeking the blessings of Lord Jagannath and his divine siblings, Anant also paid homage to Maa Bimala, Maa Laxmi, and Mahavir during his visit. He spent a contemplative moment at the Goddess Laxmi’s temple and was observed reciting the Hanuman Chalisa.
In a gesture of reverence and philanthropy, Anant pledged to donate silver doors for three entrances of the historic temple, expressing his commitment in the presence of temple management committee members.
