Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: Ace Homoeopathic researcher Dr. Niranjan Mohanty on Saturday was conferred with the Living Legend Award by the Indian Institute of Homoeopathic Physicians (IIHP), for his life time contribution to the field of homoeopathic treatment.
The IIHP authorities felicitated Dr. Mohanty during a two-day convention of International Homoeopathic Physicians at Hyderabad, organised by the Federation of Homoeopathic Colleges, Telengana in collaboration with the IIHP.
Dr. Mohanty who joined the occasion as the Chief Speaker, presented his research-based thesis titled “Auto immune disorders in Homoeopathy with special reference to Psoriasis”, was well regarded by the panel of doctors present in the convention.
Dr. Mohanty who hails from, Odisha’s Bhubaneswar has been contributing to the field of Homoeopathic Medical Science since 1975. In his profound span of service, he worked as Principal and Superintendent of the Avinna Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College. Besides, he was posted as the Dean of the Homoeopathic University, assigned as the National President IIHP, active member of Central Homoeopathic Research Council, New Delhi, Chairman of the National Family Planning Services and National Vice-President of Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) during his tenure.
