Bhubaneswar, December 3: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming +2 examinations. The theory exams will begin on February 18 and conclude on March 21.

Practical exams are set to take place from January 2 to January 15, with students receiving their admit cards from December 15. This timeline provides clarity for the thousands of students across the state, ensuring they have sufficient time to prepare for both theory and practical assessments. The exams will cover all three streams—Arts, Science, and Commerce.

The CHSE has stressed the importance of the practical exams, urging schools to complete all practical sessions within the designated period and make necessary arrangements for a smooth process. This year, a total of 4,07,037 students are expected to appear for the examinations across 1,350 centres.

To enhance security and transparency, the council has also confirmed that 210 examination hubs will be monitored by AI camera surveillance. The use of this technology is expected to improve examination integrity and curb malpractice.

Controller of Examinations for CHSE, said that each district will deploy two flying squad teams, consisting of three members per team, to oversee the exams.

Theory exams will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students are required to be in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the start time. Answer booklets will be distributed to students five minutes before the exam begins.
