Young artists showcase vibrant paintings at Bhubaneswar cultural exhibition event

Bhubaneswar hosted a vibrant celebration of young creative talent as the third edition of the Kala Brahma art exhibition opened its doors at Jaydev Bhawan. Jointly organized by the Fine Art Tri Art Academy and the Laxman Bhanj Trust, the event spotlighted numerous colorful artworks crafted by children using simple brushes and bright imagination.

Kalinga Kesari Nayak received the prestigious Kala Brahma Samman 2026 award during the opening ceremony in recognition of his contributions to the artistic community. Several distinguished personalities attended the gathering, including international painter Dr. Panchanan Samal, actor Subhranshu Nayak, Jagannath researcher Pitabasa Routray, and poet Rajani Ransingh. These guests praised the dedication of the young participants and shared valuable guidance to help them nurture their creative futures.

Paintings themed around Lord Jagannath drew special attention from visitors, captivating art lovers with their deep spiritual expressions and intricate detailing. Organizers Jitendra Bhanj and Ranga Ransingh outlined future plans for expanding the academy's outreach, encouraging community backing to support upcoming creative minds across the region.
