Bhubaneswar, Sep 4: A virgin waterfall of about 1,115 feet height, located in the dense forests of Odisha's Similipal National Park has been spotted by a local youth association.
According to sources, members of a local youth association 'Mayurbhanj Mirror', who are working for tourism promotion in their locality have spotted the virgin waterfall named ‘Subarnajharan’ in Similipal forests. The waterfall located near Basipitha, has six layers. But only four are visible and two are covered under dense forests, sources informed.
Worth mentioning that last year the members of 'Mayurbhanj Mirror' had also brought to lime light another waterfall in Mayurbhanj district's Kundalabani forests near Bangiriposi. It was then named ‘Ghodagadhua Waterfall’.
Several locals and tourism lovers have appreciated the relentless efforts of the team members of 'Mayurbhanj Mirror', who have been relentlessly working for tourism promotion and spotting new waterfalls in Mayurbhanj district, sources added.
