Angul, Feb 11: The Vigilance Department carried out coordinated raids at the residence and office of Subrat Kumar Behera, Junior Assistant at the Angul CDMO office, in connection with alleged misappropriation of ₹2.38 crore in government funds. The operation was simultaneously conducted at five locations.

Officials said the raids involved 5 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, 14 ASIs, and other Vigilance personnel. The targeted locations included Behera’s three-story house in Hakimpada, Angul, his office, a relative’s house in Bondara, his ancestral home in Hindol, Dhenkanal, and a relative’s residence in Shri Bihar, Bhubaneswar.

During the operation, authorities seized several important documents and records to further the investigation.
