Bhubaneswar, April 1: Utkal Pratibha Samman 2024 was observed with grandeur and enthusiasm at ODM Public School on the auspicious occasion of Utkal Divas.
The program aimed to recognize and honor the language, literature, and culture of Odisha, which play a pivotal role in shaping the identity of the state.
A total of 12 distinguished individuals, who have established themselves in various fields across society, were conferred with prestigious awards during the ceremony held on this special occasion.
Former Justices of Orissa High Court, A. Suryanarayan Naidu and Arun Kumar Parichha, graced the occasion as the chief guest and guest of honor respectively. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, Chairman of ODM Public School; Jagi Mangat Panda, Managing Director of OTV; Professor Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Chief Consultant at Sum Hospital; Dr. Mahendra Prasad Tripathy, Director of Care Hospital; Ace para-badminton player Pramod Bhagat; and Dr. Swetapadma Dash, CEO of SUM Ultimate Medicare, among other dignitaries present in the function.
Justice Naidu remarked, "It's a privilege to honor the talents who have contributed to the development and growth of Odisha in various fields. I extend my gratitude to ODM for this opportunity. With the blessings of Lord Jagannath, I hope such events will be organized annually to honor talents across various domains of Odisha."
Meanwhile, Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, Chairman of ODM Public School, expressed his joy in hosting and honoring talents from various fields of Odisha. "We have been organizing this event every year. Last year, we had honored five talents in various fields. This year, we have recognized 12 talents across diverse domains. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate and honor talents in various fields," said Minaketan.
