UP CM Yogi unveils Mahakumbha 2025 logo, announces complete ban on meat and alcohol in Prayagraj

Prayagraj (UP), October 6: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently unveiled the official logo for the Mahakumbha 2025, marking the beginning of preparations for this grand religious event in Prayagraj.

 Along with the logo launch, CM Yogi also inaugurated a dedicated website and mobile app aimed at providing real-time updates and information to devotees attending the Mahakumbha.

 In a significant move, CM Yogi announced a complete ban on meat and alcohol in the city during the Mahakumbha period, reinforcing the sanctity of the event, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. 

The government's focus is on ensuring a spiritually uplifting and clean atmosphere for millions of pilgrims expected to attend from across the globe.

 The website and app will feature facilities like route maps, transport details, medical services, and other essential resources, aimed at providing smooth logistics and accessibility to devotees. 

This step also highlights the emphasis on digitizing services for the event, making it easier for people to plan their journey and stay informed throughout the Mahakumbha celebrations.
