Union Minister Pradhan urges people to stay alert for flood

Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday urged the people to stay alert and prepared in view of the flood situation in Odisha. Taking to Twitter, Pradhan said that incessant rain across the state has resulted flood situations in a number of districts. At the same time, another low pressure area is likely to be formed over Odisha which may bring more rain in the state. Pradhan has also asked people to leave for safe places including cyclone centers and other safe zones with higher altitudes with the provisions of evacuation initiated by the district admin. Apart from it, Pradhan has requested the BJP workers for helping the needy ones in the flood affected areas and undertake rescue operation in a collective manner.
