Bhubaneswar, Sept. 17: The Chandaka police on Sunday intercepted two notorious highway looters from Bhubaneswar.

The two members of a chain snatcher gang were most wanted by the Commissionerate Police who used to brutally attack commuters to loot gold ornaments and other valuables from them.

Police sources said the accused have been identified as Prasant Bhoi and Sagar Bhoi.

A Bajaj Pulsar 220 bike, two mobile phones, cash, and a chopper have been recovered from them.

Chandaka IIC said the duo were rampant in the Khordha and Bhubaneswar area for a few months. They were chasing bikers and attacking them fiercely to loot valuables. Based on a gold-chain snatching complaint, police reached the looter gang with frantic spying on the gang.
