Paradip, August 27:Two crew members rescued from the ill-fated vessel Ocean Winner are being brought to Paradip aboard Indian Coast Guard ship ‘Bharad’. Both crew members are reportedly in stable health.
Upon arrival at Paradip, the two survivors will undergo immigration formalities before being handed over to the ship’s agent.
The Ocean Winner sank in the deep sea, around 470 nautical miles from Paradip Port, six days ago. On the first day of the incident, only two of the vessel’s crew members were rescued and subsequently provided medical treatment.
The remaining 22 crew members are still missing. Search and rescue operations are continuing in the area, but there has been no information about their whereabouts so far.
