Bhubaneswar, May 25: A major road accident occurred late at night after a goods-laden truck rammed into a Tata Ace vehicle that was reportedly on its way to tow a breakdown pickup van.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the Tata Ace climbed onto the divider of the overbridge, causing heavy damage to both vehicles. Following the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot.

The condition of the Tata Ace driver is said to be critical, while two other injured persons were shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for treatment.
Later, cranes and hydra machines were used to remove the damaged vehicles from the road and restore traffic movement on the overbridge.
