The move is expected to improve accessibility for passengers, especially those traveling from North Bhubaneswar, Athgarh, and Cuttack.

Visakha Express (17015/17016): Both the origin and termination of this train will shift to BBSN, offering better connectivity to Secunderabad.
Inter City Express (22819/22820): This train will run between Visakhapatnam and BBSN, providing convenient travel options for passengers along this route.
The revised schedule also includes 2-minute halts at Mancheswar and 20-minute stops at Bhubaneswar Main to facilitate smoother passenger transfers between trains.
The upgraded BBSN station, developed under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, boasts expanded parking spaces, modern waiting areas, and enhanced facilities for passengers. Travelers are advised to check the revised boarding points to avoid confusion and ensure a smooth journey.
This move is expected to significantly ease congestion at the city’s main railway station while improving the overall travel experience for passengers.
