Bhubaneswar, Ap 28: A high-speed car accident occurred late at night near the Hanspal-Abhayamukhi canal road in Mahukhanda, on the outskirts of the state capital, leaving three people injured.

Two of the injured, Amaresh Behera and Chinmay Behera, were seriously hurt and admitted to Capital Hospital for treatment. The car was carrying three passengers at the time of the accident. Witnesses reported that the vehicle flipped four to five times before landing on the roadside, completely wrecking the car.

The injured were initially taken by ambulance to Balipatna Community Health Center. Due to the severity of their injuries, doctors transferred the two critically injured patients to Capital Hospital.

According to reports, the passengers had attended a wedding feast at Maa Kalyan Mandap near Saripur Buddha Nath High School in Balipatna. The groom and his party were returning home when the accident occurred. Eyewitnesses stated that the car was speeding before it suddenly overturned for unknown reasons.
