Bhubaneswar, October 18: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday commended the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department and Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar district administrations on being honoured with Best Performing State under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, the Best Performing District under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, and Best District Award under the Dharati Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan, respectively.

“Odisha has been honoured as the Best Performing State under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a recognition that brings immense pride to the entire State,” Majhi posted on ‘X’

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha for this remarkable achievement. I also commend Mayurbhanj district for being recognised as the Best Performing District under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, and Keonjhar district for receiving the Best District Award under the Dharati Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan,” the Chief Minister wrote.

For the context, President Droupadi Murmu on Friday presented the awards at a national event organized in Delhi by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the presence of Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram.

“This prestigious recognition, conferred by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, stands as a testament to Odisha’s unwavering commitment towards the welfare, empowerment, and inclusive development of tribal communities,” the Chief Minister further wrote.

“The State Government remains dedicated to strengthening participatory governance and ensuring that the benefits of development reach every village and every household across Odisha,” Chief Minister Majhi added.
