Bhubaneswar, August 29: While Odisha is about to receive sizeable investment from ace MNCs and steel major like POSCO is set to come back to the mainland, the Tata Steel is of course bringing a bouquet of its projects to Odisha soon.
The Odisha visit of a team of officials of Tata Steel led by its MD, T V Narendran today especially the interaction with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for hours hinted towards such an industrial development across the state.
According to sources, Tata Steel MD, Narendran, discussed with Chief Minister Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan wherein the focus centered around exploring areas of mutual cooperation and potential investment opportunities in the state.
Following the strategic discussion, the CMO wrote on the official X handle, “Tata Steel MD Shri T.V. Narendran called on Hon’ble CM Shri @MohanMOdisha at Lok Seva Bhawan today and held discussions on areas of mutual cooperation and investment opportunities in #Odisha.”
The details of project, the Tata Steel Ltd. is going to come up with, is yet to be ascertained. On the other hand, the CMO has not yet briefed on the specific project and its prospectives of employability in details.
