Cuttack, Nov 3: In a tragic incident that has plunged an entire village into mourning, three children lost their lives after accidentally falling into a toilet tank in Badamba.

The deceased have been identified as Shubham Naik (3), Shivani Naik (5), and Ankit Naik (7). According to reports, the children had come to visit their grandfather’s house when the accident occurred. They reportedly fell into a neighbor’s toilet tank after its concrete cover gave way.

Locals immediately rushed to rescue the children and took them to the Badamba Community Health Center, where doctors declared them dead on arrival. The bodies have since been handed over to their grieving families.

The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village, with residents expressing deep sorrow over the loss. Police have reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
