Puri, Jan 19: Swarna Dhanush, a symbol of reverence and culture, reached Puri on Sunday night after a grand display in Bhubaneswar. The bow, created in Rourkela, has traveled across 30 districts and is now in Puri's northern part at a temple. Following its arrival, it will be part of a grand procession around the Srimandir, culminating in a significant journey towards Ayodhya.

The bow was crafted by the Rouekela Sanatan Jagarana Manch, an organization dedicated in preserving cultural heritage. Weighing 280 kilograms, the bow is made from five metals-gold, silver, copper, iron, and zinc. It has become an emblem of cultural pride as it tours Odisha, with people eager to witness its majestic journey.

In Puri, devotees, monks, and followers of the temple will take part in the procession, with the bow making its way through the sacred spaces. The bow’s arrival is a significant moment for the region, showcasing the devotion and craftsmanship that bind the community together.

The bow will eventually head towards Ayodhya, after completing its sacred journey across Odisha, carrying with it the blessings and devotion of the people.
