Surrekha Mallick from Binika invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan on 79th Independence Day

Subarnapur,August 6: Surrekha Mallick, a resident of Ward No. 4 in Binika town, has been officially invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan to attend the celebrations of the upcoming 79th Independence Day. She recently received an invitation letter from Rashtrapati Bhavan via the post office, sparking waves of joy and pride throughout the local community.
Two years ago, a government-approved residential house was sanctioned in the name of Surrekha’s late husband. Construction had commenced, and a state government housing committee had inspected the site. Unfortunately, during that period, Surrekha’s husband’s health deteriorated, leading to his untimely demise a few days later.
Despite this personal tragedy, Surrekha responsibly utilized the government grant within the prescribed timeframe and sustained her family through her bangle selling business. Following these events, the housing committee reported the matter to the central government.
Acknowledging her perseverance and dedication, the President extended a special invitation to Surrekha to join the Independence Day night dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
