Jagatsinghpur, Oct 25: A shocking murder has occurred at Jogadhari Chhak in Jagatsinghpur town. The deceased has been identified as Jnanaranjan Pothal, a resident of Pokapur village.

According to reports, Pothal ran a pan shop near Jogadhari Chhak. Late on Friday night, unknown assailants allegedly attacked him and murdered him in a brutal manner. Following the crime, the perpetrators fled the scene.

The motive behind the killing is yet to be confirmed, but preliminary reports suggest that past enmity could be a factor. Sadar Police have reached the crime scene and initiated a detailed investigation. Efforts are ongoing to identify the culprits and ascertain the reason for the murder.
