Bargarh, September, 11: In a tragic incident, the woman who was undergoing treatment after consuming poison along with her son and daughter on Sunday in Odisha’s Bargarh, breathed her last on Monday.
The woman has been identified as Kumudini Sahu of Masterpada under Sohela in Bargarh district.
The entire family has been wiped out with the death of Kumudini as her husband died on September 6 while her son and daughter breathed last on a day earlier, said sources.
According to the information, Kumudini along with her daughter Suvarna and son Banshidhar had been under severe mental stress after the death of her husband. However, they could not bear the tragic loss and consumed poison together.
The neighbours somehow came to know about the incident and informed police. Police after reaching the spot, rescued the trio in a worsen condition. They were ruhed to Sohela Community Health Centre then shifted to VIMAR, Burla. However, Banshidhar succumed while undergoing treatment. A few hours laster, Suvarna also breathed last.
