Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: The first instalment of Subhardra Yojna will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts on September 17.
Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Sunday that the first instalment of the Subhadra Yojana was scheduled to to beneficiaries’ accounts on Raksha Bandhan. However, the amount will be credited through DBT on September 17.
In a magnificent occasion PM Modi will roll out the program in Odisha, Parida added.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on September 17 and inaugurate the program.
Parida informed it during a programme of Odisha BJP held in Puri on Saturday.
Responding to the sharp criticism from Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik, who had earlier questioned on the guidelines set forth by the BJP government, Parida clarified that the program was rescheduled with the decision of the national leaderships.
At least 1.08 crore women have been included under the Subhadra Yojna that will extend its benefits to widows, Divyang women, and women artists who are already receiving other allowances.
