The state government has transferred Rs 1 to the accounts of Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries, ahead of the launch of the scheme on September 17 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The women who have registered themselves for the scheme by September 15 will get the first instalment through their bank accounts, said the Deputy CM.

"Padayatras are being organised in over 10,000 places across the state. Prime Minister will be visiting Odisha and BJP's commitment is for a women-led development," said Parida.
