After completing the 'Acharya Barana Niti,' Gajapati Maharaja expressed his approval of the Srimandir Parikrama project, considering it a commendable endeavor. He attributed the successful realization of this seemingly impossible task to Lord Jagannath. He said the beauty of the temple was lost due to the presence of buildings around it. The execution of the Srimandir Parikrama project became feasible through the removal of these constructions and encroachments within a 75-meter radius of the Meghanada Pacheri.
Highlighting the project's significance, he stated that the Parikrama initiative was crucial for enhancing the temple's security. Furthermore, Gajapati Maharaja noted that the earlier issue of garbage being dumped around the Meghanada Pacheri has been resolved, preventing such occurrences in the future.
