Bhubaneswar, December 21: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has on Sunday attended the Parab-2025 tribal festival in Koraput, celebrating the region’s indigenous culture through traditional art, music, and dance.

During the visit, CM Majhi launched 86 developmental projects worth Rs 545 cores for Koraput district

Majhi highlighted the festival’s role in promoting tourism. He emphasized Koraput’s unique products like coffee and ragi and pledged infrastructure development to boost local economic growth.

The 28th edition of the five-day festival featured captivating performances by tribal communities, including the Bonda, Gadaba, Paroja, Kondh, and Saora.

Parab, marking the end of the agricultural cycle, honors nature and the shared traditions of the region.

The event also saw participation from local MLAs and MPs.
