Uttarakhand, April 12: In a tragic incident, five members of a family lost their lives after their speeding car, they were onboard skidded into a river.

The misap took place at Devprayag under the Tehri district in Uttarakhand on Saturday.

According to report, at least six people were travelling in a car that faced the accident enroute their home. As a result, five from the same family succumbed to injuries on spot. Fortunately, a woman onboard sustained critical injuries.

On being informed, police and locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured one and carried her to hospital.
