Puri, Nov 21: Popular singer Sonu Nigam offered prayers at the Puri Jagannath Temple on Wednesday during his Odisha visit.
"I have sung so many bhajans of Lord Jagannath. I have visited Jagannath temple twice earlier. This time I had a very good 'darshan' and it was a great experience...", the singer said.
The renowned Bollywood playback singer and Padma Shri awardee Sonu Nigam, enthralled the audience at Cuttack Bali Yatra 2024 on Tuesday evening with his soulful renditions of popular hits like "Tumse Milke," "Meri Jaan," "Papa Mere Papa," "Dil Duba Teri Aankhon Mein," and many more.
Sonu also delighted the audience with an unexpected treat — singing a few popular Odia songs, including " Nandighosa Re Tu Jibu Mu Kokei Re Jibi " and "To Akhi Mo Aina," which further endeared him to the local audience.
During the beginning of career, Sonu Nigam has lend his voice for many hit Odia songs – bhajans and cinema songs.
